Lamp posts have been a favorite of landscape architects and engineers for years. Now you can add a lamp post or two on your own. You'll be surprised how easy it is to create this wonderful front piece for your home.

What we deliver:

(42) Brussels Dimensional Stone® units
(6) tubes Unilock® concrete adhesive
(1) 2' x 2' patio slab

What else you'll need:

(1) pillar lamp

Installation:

Excavate foundation 16"-24" deep depending on soil conditions and climate. Remove all unstable soil.
Place 8"-16" of gravel in trench and compact layers until hard.
Install bottom 2 ft. x 2 ft. patio slab. If you are constructing a lamp post, be sure to have the cable ready to put into the first row. Level the slab from side-to-side and from front-to-back. (If you are building this pillar around an existing post, no slab is required. Simply level the first (4) Brussels Dimensional Stone® around the post directly on the gravel base.)
Install (4) Brussels Dimensional Stone® on the surface of the slab in a square. Use Unilock® concrete adhesive to glue the first and subsequent rows. Always make sure the block is free of dust before gluing. Each block should be liberally glued. You will need approximately (6) 10 oz. tubes. Make sure to offset the pattern for subsequent rows. You will not need to cut any stones to construct this pillar.
Attach lighting fixture. Consult electrical supply store or contractor for building code requirements for cables, grounding, etc.
