There's nothing like sitting around a campfire--especially when it's in your back yard! With the do-it-yourself UnilockŪ Fire Pit you can enjoy the magic of an outdoor blaze without leaving home.

We'll deliver all the materials and directions you'll need to your home. The only thing we don't provide are the hotdogs and marshmallows! In no time you'll be enjoying a roaring fire in your attractive new fire pit.

What we deliver:
  1. (44) Roman StackŪ units
  2. (22) Roman StackŪ coping
  3. (2) tubes UnilockŪ concrete adhesive
  4. (1) cubic yard of gravel
  5. Pavers for patio area around pit, 100 sq. ft. minimum
Installation:
  1. Excavate foundation 16" deep for the base of the pit and the wall. Excavate only 8" deep where the pavers around the fire pit area will be. Remove all unstable soil.
  2. Place 4" of gravel in trench and compact until hard.
  3. Install bottom row of Roman StackŪ units in a complete circle. Level the units from side-to-side and from front-to-back. Complete the second row and the coping row (row 3). Use UnilockŪ concrete adhesive to glue on the last row.
  4. Build up the gravel base for the patio around the fire pit and compact using a gas-powered plate compactor or hand tamper if under 50 square feet. Screed a 1" sand layer over the compacted gravel base.
  5. Install the pavers on the sand base in the desired pattern.
  6. Complete any necessary cuts, compact the surface, and sweep in UnilockŪ Polymeric Jointing Sand.
  7. Build fire on gravel base at the bottom of the pit. Enjoy!
