How long do Unilock® products last?
Unilock® paver are guaranteed for life. Paving stones are manufactured to be a minimum strength two times greater than the strength of normal poured concrete.

Will my Unilock® paving stones last longer if I seal them?
No. Sealer does 2 things. First it helps resist stain penetration. Second, it enhances the color.

What do I do if I get an oil stain?
It can be removed using Unilock’s Unicare® Cleaner #1 (oil and grease remover). The sooner you clean a stain the better the result.

How do I prevent weeds from growing between the joints?
With the use of Super Sand jointing sand, you'll eliminate weed growth between the joints.

If I have weeds in my patio how do I get rid of them?
By using Super Sand as a jointing sand, weed growth will be minimal, if any. For other type sands, apply a spot vegetation killer as required. This is available from any garden center.

If something was to chip or damage my pavers could I replace them?
Very easily! A paver can be pried out easily with two flat head screwdrivers and a new paver inserted.

Does frost affect my installation?
No, if you install them on a properly prepared base Unilock® pavers will outlast poured concrete, impressed concrete and asphalt!

How soon after installation can I use my driveway or patio?
Immediately. Just be sure that you have completed all the aspects of installation (i.e. compaction and the sweeping in of Super Sand).

Can I use paving stone around a swimming pool?
Absolutely! Unilock® pavers not only enhance the area around a pool, they also provide a slip resistant surface to walk on. And if you ever have to service the area below the pavers, you can easily lift and re-lay the pavers.

I want to build a retaining wall seven feet high, what wall is best for this?
Many Unilock® retaining walls can be used for this application. Whenever building a retaining wall over 45” you should consult a professional engineer.
